Tarot: Majority of spreads are mostly made up of court and trump cards, common?
Is it common to have the majority of your cards in a spread be court and trump cards? It’s energy seems ominous. I might be overestimating it, tho.

It can be said that readings with a majority of Major’s can mean that life is not within your control at this time.
A majority of court’s can show that others will have a greater say, which of course can lead to conflict.

It’s not all that common. A reading with a majority of Major Arcana cards can mean the situation is out of your control. A major life lesson needs to be learned. The timing of Major Arcana cards is usually the event is occurring now, in the present time. Court cards can indicate events, but in most cases they do represent people in your life. The Major Arcana may be pointing out issues that need to be resolved with a person, or it could mean that person has a message for you (especially the Pages).
Also, some of the energy from the negative feeling cards is somewhat negated if they are in the ill-dignified position (reversed).
You may want to reshuffle the cards and do another lay-out asking for clarification on the last reading.
