When you do a Tarot reading; Who is the “questioner” & who is the “diviner”?
And who does what with the cards. I have some Fenestra Tarot Cards & want to try them on my mom first. I know it’s possible to do a reading of yourself but the silly pamphlet that came with them doesn’t recommend it. PLEASE don’t answer if you’re a bible beater. I will not acknowledge your answer. Thanks!

you are the diviner and your book is just a guild as you will be
Answer by sunburst
The questioner is the person asking the question and the diviner would be the person who is laying out the cards and interpreting them for the questioner.
Personally I’ve never had a problem reading for myself and I don’t know why you couldn’t, after you are more familiar with the cards and have done some practice readings. Good luck!

sometimes the ‘Querent’ and the Reader are the same person! The Querent asks the question. The best thing I can advise is to study the cards, both the pamphlet and the cards themselves. It is hard to find the right deck for yourself. I have the Archeon Tarot because I see a lot of movement in the cards and its easier for me to give the traditional pamphlet reading, and then tell what I SEE in the cards.

The questioner would be the person seeking the answer and the diviner would be the person reading them.
While it’s not wise to do full spread readings for yourself often; try pulling a card for yourself a day and read it. What do you gather from that card? Take notes in a special book and at the end of the day compare your notes from that morning to how your day actually went.
Ho do I know what Arcana to use for a tarot reading?
So i found alot of spreads but I wanted to ask how do I know what Arcana to use for the reading? Should I just look at the number of cards and if its more than 22 used, switch to the Minor Arcana? or is there some way to tell exactly what arcana to use for what reading or does it not matter at all?
Answer by starcherub
You’re supposed to use the entire deck, all major and all minor arcana. Shuffle the deck and select cards at random or off the top and arrange them in a spread that you want. All the ones that aren’t in a spread are not looked at in the reading, so put the rest aside. Your spread will have a mixture of major and minor arcana cards.
If you want to use a spread that involves only the major arcana, that’s fine, but make sure it is a spread with less than 22 cards.

Generally, you’re supposed to use the entire deck–both Major and Minor Arcana. However, there are some spreads that call for only one of the Arcanas. These spreads usually state which Arcana to use if only one is to be used.
There are some references that state a person learning Tarot should start with a smaller spread (ten cards or less) and just use the Major Arcana. While I did try that for a bit–many years ago–I found that using the entire deck gave me better and much more accurate information. So, use the entire deck if you want an accurate reading.

You can use the Major alone if you wish, some new student do just this. The Minor should be used with the Major.

Getting a true tarot reading online?
Can you really get a true reading of your tarot cards online? If so is anyone out there willing to try my reading?
Answer by Winter Thea Bear
NO. That is jibberish and a joke. NO ONE can tell you anything about nothing concerning what will happen to you or when. You are playing with Black Majick and could open very dangerous Spirit Doors that you cannot close. . .
Answer by Questioner
I don’t know a good site, however the first comment/answer I saw on here was talking about black magic, tarot readings are not black magic,it doesn’t open any doors. It is simply the reading of the tarot based on certain things.
